• If the name of the farm is blue with an underline; that's a link to their website or Facebook page. Click on it for the most current hours and information.
• ALWAYS email or call the farm or store BEFORE YOU GO - many farms have closed in the past year, and of course, we won't know until the season starts and we find they aren't open! Call to confirm their supply, their hours and whether they have trees, are allowing choose-and-cut or just precut trees; and which attractions or winter activities are available. All three can change during the short Christmas season, due to weather, demand and the farmer's business conditions! Owners say you can Top off ANY tree for $40. They are beautiful and healthy ! We had gone there for years w/my 3 kids and today they weren't open BUT let my oldest son get a tree for his house. He's 22 and just bought his own home in Wallingford last year. It was great. What a wonderful Tradition to pass down. "

Ragland Farm and the adjoining land has been in the Stiles family since the late 1600's. We produce Maple Syrup and raise Christmas trees. We also grow vegetables and flowers in the summer which we sell in our small farm stand on the road side. Along with eggs from our 6 beautiful chickens. Maple syrup is available all year round. Christmas trees are for sale from Black Friday until Christmas Eve. The farm stand will be stocked as the supplies grow. We are conveniently located on Route 6 so stop by for a visit!

Feel free to stop by and tag a tree, which will "hold" it for you until you are ready to cut it down and take it home. All tagged trees must be cut by Saturday, December 21st, unless other arrangements are made. For safety reasons, we cannot allow power saws of any kind. We have a number of handsaws available for your use. We will be happy to trim stray branches and bale your tree if you would like us to. We are not responsible for transporting or tying your tree to your vehicle. We have twine available for securing your tree, but strongly suggest that you bring whatever items you might need to properly secure your tree. We recently added 3,000 little Fraser Fir seedlings to the huge hill you see from the garden center. Every year we spend time carefully pruning our trees so they have the best shape possible.
